Witney Carson and Carson McAllister’s second child has arrived!
The “Dancing With the Stars” pro gave birth to baby No. 2 on May 13, one day before Mother’s Day.
“He’s here,” she simply shared via Instagram Story alongside a picture of her holding her newborn son in the hospital.
“Baby is getting 100% oxygen and doing great but breathing a little fast,” she updated her followers. “They are trying to get it to slow down a little in NICU. Send prayers!”
A few hours later, her newborn son was back in her arms.
“He has to be closely monitored but I’m so happy I’m holding him now,” she added, sharing a picture where she hugged him to her chest.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Saturday, Carson revealed that she had been on bed rest but had started to feel some contracts throughout the day.
“I’ve had so many contractions in the last hour. We will see how tonight goes,” she wrote, detailing that her contractions were eight minutes apart.
But in a matter of hours, her contractions accelerated and she rushed to the hospital with McAllister.
Carson, 29, excitedly revealed her pregnancy news while competing on Season 31 of the hit dance competition show with celebrity partner Wayne Brady.
“I’m so excited,” the choreographer told viewers, adding, ”This felt like a really really good time to share it.”
The then-expectant star went on to share her May due date with her Instagram followers.
“We feel so blessed, and I can’t wait to see Leo be a big brother,” the dancer captioned a video, referencing her 2-year-old son.
Leo was born in January 2021, five years after his parents’ Utah wedding.
Carson had a “traumatic” birth, explaining to Us Weekly the following month that she had an emergency C-section since the infant was “stuck underneath [her] pelvis.”
